Supporting Each Other

By having Employee-led Resource Groups (ERGs) it is our hope that we can create a new channel of communication and connectivity, while lending a voice to the variety of demographics represented throughout AssuredPartners.

Mission Statement

  • Establish an open forum where employees with shared interests can aspire, develop and collaborate to educate, raise awareness, and share information about issues that affect historically marginalized communities
  • Provide professional development, networking, and cultural appreciation opportunities
  • Create a positive work environment by improving and promoting diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion

DEI At a Glance

  • Over 1,500 employees are members of ERGs
  • In 2022, employees donated over 3,599 hours DEI-related activities
  • In 2022, our ERGs provided over 37 hours of education to AP employees

The ECPC is a group of employees who are within the first ten years of their insurance careers.

The ECPC facilitates integration between teams and provides opportunities to build relationships beyond the colleagues you work with daily.

The ECPC is used as a platform to discuss professional development, training ideas, and broader career opportunities. It additionally offers guidance on professional qualifications, providing resources and information for those interested in development. The group meets monthly to discuss and plan ideas for networking, professional development, mentoring, and events.

We have participated in charity events such as Heath Hands, where we planted hedges and cleaned up the park for wildlife. Additionally, we attended the Havens Hospices’ Insurance Industry Quiz Night, which offered us a chance to network with others in the insurance market.

Discussions are based on ideas, interests, suggestions, needs, and concerns for employees early in their careers at AssuredPartners. The Chair presents these issues to the leadership during monthly management meetings.

We identify, plan, and organise events and activities specifically targeted at like-minded colleagues to promote teamwork and a sense of community across APL. These activities include social events, team-building exercises, training sessions, and workshops.
