Claims Handler

Reports to: Sharon Elms, Claims Manager

Location: Leeds office

About The Role: 

You will proactively manage an allocation of claims from notification to settlement of the file whilst actively keeping clients and internal stakeholders informed of progress. No two claims are the same and so you will continually be exposed to new challenges.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • The handling and settlement of claims and any related customer queries
  • The development of positive relationships with clients, insurers & lossadjusters.
  • Provide suitable advice with regards to claims and treat customers fairly
  • Complete all administration and paperwork in accordance with companyprocedure and service standards and in line with claims protocols
  • The building and maintaining of effective professional relationships.
  • The handling and responding to product queries from clients quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Keeping abreast of market conditions and developments.
  • Building up detailed knowledge about the company’s products.

About You

You enjoy working in a fast-paced claims team and have excellent knowledge and experience of doing so (probably gained during a minimum of 2 years Claims Handling Experience). You care about putting our customers at the heart of everything you do and you are tenacious in achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.
