Location: London office, with a hybrid working arrangement
About The Role:
The role will directly support the placing broking team in all account aspects and offers an opportunity to join a team covering a full spectrum of Casualty lines. The role would include broking – Commercial General Liability, Professional Indemnity, Errors & Omissions, Medical Malpractice, Directors & Officers Liability and Cyber Liability. The focused territories would be Canada, Australia, UK & Europe.
The role offers an opportunity to help develop and service a well-established book, globally.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Preparing Presentations
- Broking to Underwriters – In person / Over Phone / Over Email
- Producing Policies / Slips
- Placing Slips on PPL
- Help Service Binder Referrals
- Help develop new client relationships
- Help develop new market relationships
About You
To be considered for this role you won’t require extensive experience but will have a knowledge of the casualty insurance market. This could come from a broking, underwriting, technical or claims background, ideally from within the London market, though this is not essential.
Experience in a client-facing role would be beneficial. Proficient use of Microsoft Office systems (Excel, Word & Outlook) and familiarity with PPL will be required. You’ll need to be a good communicator with good written skills.
